Quality of Education is the only reason that many people prefer USA over UK for masters. I think you must have to choose universities depends on "How quality of education is there". Duration of masters in UK is of one year, time that it takes for masters in UK is very few and it is not enough to get sufficient knowledge of master’s level. Again you may need to do a PhD later.
